At D&G Sweetzone, we believe life is sweeter with a little treat. Founded by Graham Mackenzie and Donna Aitken, our family-run sweet shop brings joy to the heart of Falkirk with a colourful mix of classic favourites and exciting new finds
From our cosy shop in the Howgate Shopping Centre to bustling local markets, we’re proud to serve our community with handpicked sweets, friendly service, and a sprinkle of nostalgia. Our Vision
We aim to be Falkirk's favourite sweet shop known for our unique products, friendly service, and commitment to sustainability. From local markets to regional events, were growing with our community every step of the way.
Our Story
D&G Sweetzone was born from a shared passion between Donna Aitken and Graham Mackenzie. With Donnas retail and customer service expertise and Grahams financial and strategic know-how, they built a sweet haven from the ground up.
From late-night planning to early market mornings, every detail was crafted with care. Our journey began with a humble stall at St. Marys Primary Schools summer fete in Bathgate, where the community's overwhelming support inspired us to open our shop.
We also partnered with The Hive in Bo'ness, formerly the Renewable Retail Hub, which helped us expand and connect with even more sweet lovers.
Fun Fact
Our first stall was a hit! Watching kids light up as they chose their favourite sweets was the moment we knew — this was just the beginning.
Giving Back
We proudly take part in local events and markets, bringing our sweet treats to the heart of the community. Because at D&G Sweetzone, its not just about sweets its about connection.

Behind the scoops and smiles is a passionate team: Graham Mackenzie and Donna Aitken, the partners behind the business, with extra help from Caitlyn Mackenzie, who brings her energy and support to the shop and market stalls.Together, we’ve built D&G Sweetzone into a local favourite, offering everything from fizzy favourites to chewy classics, with options for Halal, Vegan, and No Fizzy diets. Whether you visit us in-store at the Howgate Shopping Centre or shop online, we’re always ready to serve up something sweet.
